![]() I have been using iPhones since the first generation but have never had this problem before. I attempt to activate the phone and now get a "SIM Not Supported" message followed by a paragraph on how my carrier is not supported under the activation policy assigned by the activation server. In the US I use a T-Mobile SIM and the phone worked as expected (Full LTE coverage etc.) This morning I arrived back in my home country and the minute I popped my SIM card in a notification shows up saying "Activation Required" with the "Hello" in different languages showing up as well. I was in the USA a few days ago and picked up a Verizon iPhone 7 Plus at full price ($969.99 + tax) that I ordered from Best Buy's website and shipped to a friend's house. ![]()
